Shopping in Covent Garden Saturday. Pavements up to Tottenham Court Road 7 person deep. Most shops packed. All restaurants and cafes packed with queues. Service poor in a sad stressed kind of way. No would not recommend at least not on a Saturday.

I always meet friends at the corner where the cafe was. Sadly, it's closed. It was there for at least 20 years.
It's a nice walk through to Chinatown.
