You can wear a poppy in Dublin and no one will notice, we call Dubliners Jackeens for a reason

All the English chain stores sell them in Ireland now too.  I'm not sure they do much of a trade but a few years ago they introduced the green poppy.

I put it on my coat. In recent years it just isnt really cold enough to wear a coat this time of year so it doesnt get many outings
