Weekend Plans

Anyone up to anything fun to lift us after a rather grey week? I'm out for dinner tomorrow night and then back to the country on Saturday to see what chaos Ciaran has caused.

Summer - the grey week turns brighter for me with yet another echocardiogram. I ain't joking. The NHS, despite all critics, is doing some stuff right.

Son / Dad time in Dublin ( over for the weekend with youngest Asturian for the next Uni open day)

Friday: really looking forward to relaxing! Long hot bath and a film

Saturday: gym, food shopping and then the theatre

Sunday: shopping for pressies and having my hair done

Saturday morning: to the vet (with cat) for jabs. Saturday evening: round to friends' house for cheese and wine and Strictly

Sunday morning: beach walk. Sunday afternoon/evening: Drinks and Vinyl session at friends' house (who have a record player)

Family dinner at the Indian restaurant in their village Saturday night, walk to highwayman’s grave Sunday, lots of sleeping

Music gig, comedy gig, cooking, sleeping, reading, and a long bath. Got a Lush bath bomb to use up.

The Temple Bar pub starts serving at about 9am. Live music from around 1030am

8 euro 95 cent for a pint of guinness though

Sat: Watching Quins so lots of pints followed by big piss in Buzz’s garden

The French are doing battle on the tabletop against the dastardly English (well, and quite a few Germans tbf) in a return match from last week. Its 1815 all over again, but this time I shall be leading the frog-eaters to victory.
