Far from it cookie , had no idea they were Jewish . First it was lawyers, then doctors , then accountants and now politicians. Given that lawyers are going to be obselete one can only wonder why he encouraged his soon to become a barrister....

My only objection to him. as like some (but thankfully not all) younger people, he drops a few ts at the end of words. I find it really irrritating when I hear that and I always turn down Sky adverts as they have so many people doing it these days. I cannot even bear to hear it.

When the good Professor Susskind first predicted the imminent end of lawyers there were about 60,000 practising solicitors on the Roll.
30 years or so later there are about 145,000.

A true genius then. He makes a living speaking at conferences and big firm partner retreats. I have met him for lunch, along with our then IT Director. 'Did you learn anything new from that?' I asked back in the office. 'Nope' said the IT guy. Neither did I.
