Sounds like a pretext for getting rid on the cheap. Surely their rubbish results in the CC justify that?

They are refusing to comment and the members are not happy.  They have been monumentally shit under Rob Andrew

I think part of their problem was that their strategy under Andrew seemed to be to prioritise T20 which meant signing players who’d disappear off for the IPL. Abandoning the Championship means it won’t be a fun place to play as no one enjoys losing which demoralises players and encourages the good players to leave. It’s not just Jordan and Topley (who would have missed a fair few games because of international/T20 commitments) but staples of the side like Phil Salt and Ben Brown. There’s a stench of failure everywhere Rob Andrew goes. 
 

And everyone seems very tight lipped on what the disagreement with Carson was about. 

They always used to do pretty well in the Blast anyway - generally  made at least the quarter-finals.
