Richard Briers

In my head Dux sounds like Richard Briers

i also recommend Brothers In Law on Radio 4

He doesn't, having met them both. Briers used to live down here. I used to see him on the evening train from Waterloo, invariably in the booze carriage. Amiable and would chat with anyone, which led to some hilarious banter with City traders.

“Thank you very much Jerry!  That’s the last time I play the whore for you!”

hey chambers Briars lived round the corner from me for the last twenty or so years of his life. You would find him in the off licence practically everyday, white wine was his tipple iirc. Same voice as in screen.
