Was in Los Angles about 15 years ago, one of the things I thought I'd do was go the courthouse.
Based on English timings, I thought if I arrived at 2 o'clock I'd see trials in full swing, all the housekeeping and interim applications dealt with.
There seemed to be nothing going on. I spoke with a member of the court staff, and he said 'most of the trials are over for the day. We start at 8am here.'
So I spent the afternoon photographing the Walt Disney Music Hall (or whatever it's called).
Harwood is a witless throbber. Stick him in a litigation seat see how long he thinks 10am is a late start for. Millennial child will be sobbing to his mother by teatime on the second day.
