it’s david v goliath stuff now. i refuse to be imprisoned for believing brexit is fooking stupid. we’re going to have to fight underground now

bollox is not an obscene swear word

as demonstrated conclusively in r v christopher seale in defence of the sex pistols

it has famously historically meant a small ball, a type of orchid and a nickname for a clergyman

I have just been told that if the police ask to see your phone in the airport you HAVE to show them even if there is no probable cause. Police fooking state min.

Do not talk nonsense Ducks. It is 2019. There aren't any maiden aunts and if there were, none of them would be shocked by the word "bollocks". It has been established as a matter of law that the word is not, in any event, obscene. No public order offence has been committed whatsoever; the policeman was simply trying to enforce his own political views by distorting the power and role of his office, and should be fired for it. I would have noted down his identity and refused to leave my vehicle or, under any circumstances, remove the wording from it.

Serge is absolutely right, this is what happens in police states Identify this copper and fire him. Take his pension.

Time we started a campaign of civil disobedience against the row after row of stupid oppressive vaguely drafted discretionary public order offences. Revoke them all.

(Particularly amusing when that woman who's obviously the kind of person who votes in favour of such statutes got collared for a trumped up offence on the train. The smelly breakfast incident. LOL.)

They removed the friendly anti gammon incumbent protesters from my hi st on Saturday.  Two blokes holding sign and a third in a funny outfit.  Weren't even repping any party, just a "this MP is crap" the jibe (without using the word crap I must add for fear f giving dux nightmares)

I can’t possibly see how that merited being moved on. Particularly if they were moving around rather than standing blocking the street. There is absolutely no law whatsoever against walking down the street holding a sign with a political slogan on it. If the police think there is, they’re wrong. This kind of stuff must be defeated. It’s amazing how many public order offences have been enacted in the last 40yrs considering we have, during that time, at no point had a serious problem with public order.
