wish I'd had cash on the lillywhite boys a few weeks back

spurs got out spursed by Inter and managed to scrape through vs Barca under 7s third team.

Although given the shit your lot have given arsenal over the last decade for fighting for a top 4 finish and getting knocked out in the last 16, the fact that you are celebrating the same thing like you've won the world cup makes you look a little bit small time m7

well done liverpool though, gr7 result against a tricky Napoli side.

Heh. You've been in the Champions league twice.

You've also lost 2-0 to PSV, 4-1 to Inter Milan and twice to Barcelona. One 3-2 win at home to Barca doesn't make up for that.

Newcastle have been in the CL three times and spurs have been in the CL three times. Doesn't exactly put you in a position to boast does it?

I like how you forget to mention us smashing Bayer Leverkusen home and away (you know, Leverkusen who knocked you out of the CL, putting you in the Europa league where you lost to Gent)

Also, for all of your success:

Spurs trophies in the last decade: 0

Newcastle trophies in the last decade: 0 (excluding 2 Championship winner trophies)

three times?

1997-1998, 2002-2003. You may have qualified in 2003-2004, but you couldn't even make it through the qualifying round.

And if we are being pedantic, in the last 10 years (2008-2018), we have one League cup. I completely admit it isn't good enough however

So we were in the CL three times like i said.

It is hilarious that Spurs actually think they are one of the big boys. At least at Newcastle know we are shit.

Never claimed to be one of the big boys and we are certainly punching but we are in a different class to Newcastle, both historically and currently

Tottenham league trophies: 2

Newcastle league trophies: 4

You're right, we are in a totally different class pal

Landlord was a Spurs fan who didn't object to my droning on about Chelsea before the match.  But in fairness any foreign team who can go there and not get bummed six ways from Sunday deserves praise.

fixed that for you, teclis.

If you mean down to the old 3rd division, It was late 90s. Makes our incredible success in recent years all the more enjoyable. Almost like a fairytale.

was it the 1920s when newcastlol last won the top division?

For once, I agree with Tecco.

Admittedly not full strength but they still fielded Dembele, Coutinho, Rakitic, Busquets, Arthur and Messi for not inconsiderate amounts of the game. Their keeper would get into a lot of other teams and Lenglet isn't a bad replacement for Umtiti.
