I am not a Labour voter, but I thought Tom, advocated the position very eloquently, and was measured and cogent in his arguments. He steered away from personal insults, whereas Gove.......
Will she take no deal off the table? No she won't in my view, under any circumstances, for her to do that she will have to resile from her mantra, "brexit means brexit", and look more mad than she is already.
what Elphi said, I think Watson was positioning himself as a future PM, nicely. JC is 70, if he were voted in and survied 2 terms he would be 80, that is elderely on any view, and his stamina won't be as good as a younger man, nor will it appeal to the majority of the electorate..

May is lucky that the Opposition is as poor as it is.
Imagine if she faced a competent Labour leadership?

Heh, as if there has ever been a competent labour leadership. Perhaps John Smith. Perhaps.

Never going to happen. Watson and McCluskey fell out and McCluskey wants him gone.
