I'm particularly enjoying the rise of knife crime, it has its victims sure, but they're often limited to people involved in absolute scummery therefore cleaning up the streets for us working folk
The absolute silence on the Tube, no one talking to each other. In other parts of the country this is really quite bizarre but in London it makes sense.
My favourite thing about London is that there's so much going on and there's so much to do. The worst is how busy it is and slow walking pedestrians.
I love the history of London. Few cities on earth can compare to its rich yet understated architecture. I'm glad it doesn't do grand boulevards like Paris or Vienna.
I'm a brisk walker but the pace of it in London used to infuri8 me. Now that I'm practicing mindfulness, I just let the fcukers overtake me without worrying.
The way people dress (outside of the Square Mile). I was back in London for w weekend to see a few exhibitions and sitting on a bench outside the V&A and seeing just how differently everyone dresses to one another, whether they be Londoners at art school or European tourists. You really do realise how tedious provincial normcore is.
If variety is the spice of life than London is the greatest garam masala in the world
My favourite view is from the Hungerford Bridge. The curve of the river and all those buildings all seemingly laid out in a row in front of you. London is a great City for just wandering about...

I like the fact that it's got streets and air. And also transport links and cheese. And you can buy things and also stuff.

I like the architectural history and variety. I’ve swallowed and memorised three successive editions of Pevsner’s city and westminster.

I still get a little kick every time I cross a bridge and look at the views and feel lucky to live here

Same when I cross London Bridge at night and see Tower Bridge all lit up. I think that’s my favourite view in London.

Screw the American dream, it's a proper city of opportunity.
You can come from nothing and make it big.
