if one exists of the word "handed"... eg... " a copy of y must be handed to x"
I don't have access to lots of resources and google didn't help, but if someone did know a case they could refer me to.
I have an obligation to "hand" something, and it isn't as easy as giving it to someone in the context of the obligation.
