I imagine all those divorces dilute the pot somewhat.  Not really any different to all those footballers who go bust - immense wealth, noone to advise with honesty, a taste for oppulence that is unsustainable, hoardes of cheeky scammers drawn to prey on high profile/low sophistication (whether thru abject fraud or bad "advice") no idea about tax still less tax structuring (Jimmy Carr, Gary Barlow Kerry Katona...).

Quite. There was a report recently about PFA mismanagement that said something like 40% of ex premier league players are broke (it wasn’t that exactly but something equally mind boggling). Basically living the high life and getting taken to the cleaners by dodgy advisors. And gambling. 

Yes at the very least clubs should be employing people to make players say "do a beckham, do not do a jamie o'hara"

What was the proof that she ever had £45m to start with?  I’d always assumed that she earned a few hundred grand a year whilst living like she was earning millions.
