Just sent my postal vote for the Brexit Party

I wonder how many other people that voted Remain will do the same.

It's probably just me, right?

I suspect the answer will be directly proportional to the number of other individuals who have received lobotomies since 2016.

Well every little helps Flashy.

Telegraph says it's the fastest growing political party of all time in the UK, and the Guardian says it's lost ground on what UKIP once was.  Maybe they are both true.

ah yes, of course, its just the thick and the plebs that want to leave

I like Claire Fox.  Her book "I find that offensive" was brilliant.  She's my candidate so I voted for her.  I feel very dirty voting for a party that's led by Farage, but there we are.

Agreed LH, but it is the completely brainless who've seen what has happened in the last 3 years and have decided to switch from Remain to Quit. It takes a particularly "special" person to fall into that category.

And what has happened in the last 3 years? the skies have fallen? Unemployment has shot through the roof? An immediate and profound economic downturn? Nope, none of the above

populism, however....

We are truly in a messed-up world when a right-wing party whose supporters would gladly spend a large proportion of each waking day wanking over a pink-coloured map of the world selects as a candidate a former member of the Revolutionary Communist Party and supporter of IRA terrorism.

I know a couple of people who voted remain originally who have said they would vote leave now because of, in one case, the humiliating behaviour of the EU in the negotiations, and in the other the prospect now of being permanently tied in to ever closer union.

They are both considerably cleverer than you

All sensible people all over the world think Brexit is an epic fucking shit show and that we have lost our minds. HTH.

We haven't left yet.

Also your position has changed simply because the world hasn't ended? That's a spectacularly low bar.

What has actually happened in the last 3 years is that Quitter promises made have been shown to be lies. The UK's international standing has plummeted. The country is a laughing-stock. It's being squeezed by the balls by the likes of Ireland. The government cannot get its sole policy through Parliament and has had to go begging for help to an Opposition led by someone the PM claims is a threat to the country. You've seen this a thought, "yeah, that's for me"?!

what Ray said

and suspect that he/she/they are considerably cleverer than LF's two mates

Anybody who switched from Remain to Quit because of the EU's behaviour is significantly lacking in judgment and would struggle to claim to be cleverer than a toilet brush.

Their English exceptionalism (as your "clever" friends are about to find out) is grossly misplaced. The only humiliation experienced by the UK has been entirely self-inflicted.

"The EU Council have agreed terms for the United Kingdom to now be in charge of the European Union forever, which shall be renamed Her Majesty's British European Union, subject to a UK-wide Referendum".

I wonder how many Leavers would vote to stay under the new arrangements, and how many Remainers would vote to leave?

I'm voting Brexit Party in the Euros. These khunts need a serious message. Labour at every other level though.

I'm glad that's the only point you're taking with my posts AGP.

Comrade Fred there, the Labour man supporting a party (can you be a party if you only have one policy?) whose sole policy will decimate the working class.

Workers of the World Unite!!!

"know a couple of people who voted remain originally who have said they would vote leave now because of, in one case, the humiliating behaviour of the EU in the negotiations, and in the other the prospect now of being permanently tied in to ever closer union."

Anyone who thinks we should leave a club because it fights too hard in the interest of its members is clearly not cleverer than anyone.

They're going to murder one in ten of the working class?  Fuck when was that announced?

Oh dear AGP. Like most Quitters, you're stuck in the past.

Try looking up the modern definition of "decimate". Get Lynn to do if you must.

Lynn has just confirmed the modern definition is "kill, destroy, or remove a large proportion of."

I know a number of people who voted for remain who have since switched to the opinion "I just want us to get on with it now and leave"

You should tell Lynn to look at the second definition in her Google search:

drastically reduce the strength or effectiveness of (something).

You might want to reduce her £8k a year for incompetence.

Yeah, I mean its something that's so insignificant and won't have long term effects. It's getting so boring now that we should just get on with it and pull the trigger of the gun against our head. At least then we can go back to watching Love Island.

The reason I don't agree with that argument LA is because Brexit is going to go on forever WHATEVER happens.  If we leave with no deal, leave with May's deal or any other deal, or don't leave at all.  What no dealers and revokers have in common is that I think most underestimate how much of life will still be devoted to Brexit with their way.

yep Brexit is the gift that keeps on givin'

I don't understand why a Labour Brexiter like Fred would seriously vote for Farage when Magic Grandpa is clearly on your side

Comrade Fred there, the Labour man supporting a party (can you be a party if you only have one policy?) whose sole policy will decimate the working class.

If by 'decimate' you're referring to no deal (which I know BP support), I don't believe that by voting BP in the Euros the government are suddenly going to adopt that position. The numbers aren't there in Parliament.

I'd vote Labour but Lord Adonis has already told me not to, while Tom Watson made very clear Labour are a Remain party. So what point is there?

Not referring to no deal Fred. No deal will rip the UK apart.

The working class will be decimated no matter what terms the country leaves on.

But you're not so naïve as to think that when the Brexit Party obtain most votes, the clamour for no deal won't grow louder?

Reported in The Guardian: "[Brexit party candidate Lance] Forman initially describes the idea of the Irish border being problematic in a no-deal Brexit as “a complete hoax”, and seems slightly hazy as how it could be resolved."

“I just think that sometimes you need to move forward,” he says eventually. “People shouldn’t fear change. Change brings opportunity. It’s how it handled.”

If only people would believe more.

I mean, the only reason Anna Kendrick isn't sitting on my face right now is because I don't believe in it enough.

"the only reason Anna Kendrick isn't sitting on my face right now is because I don't believe in it enough"

I thought it was because Laz was occupying that spot?

Yeah of course you do.

Oh look, a unicorn!

This is as fucking stupid as the people who voted leave to give David Cameron a kicking.

Meanwhile, their quality of life is going to get significantly worse due to their stupid decision, and David Cameron doesn't give a shit because he's having a lovely time writing his memoirs from his artisan shepherd hut in Witney and earning megabucks on the speech circuit.
