Roy has a lot of credit in the bank but Brook is a better batsman technically, more versatile and younger. And Roy declined a central contract to play in the US so he has effectively made his bed.

Would take Jacks over Woy to open. Brook can come in for literally anyone other than the skipper

Don’t think there’s really any doubt that Brook will be going. The question is now which bowlers would you pick. After Atkinson’s performance tonight that’s going to be the hard choice. Spin twins are about the only guarantees.
