Recruiter just contacted me about an interesting role with a firm I interviewed with about 6 years ago.
Interview was tough and I did not get the job.
Feels a little awkward meeting them again, even if panel of interviewers is different.
Anyone done this - probably happens all the time?
Thanks

Yes. At my current firm interviewed there maybe 2-3 years after previous interview.
Different panel, but Sane team. Was fine tbh.
Mate of mine interviewed 3 times at same place before getting it.

Just remember that, even if you want it/want to work there, they aren’t worthy of you being self conscious about it. Very few things/people are.

You should probably mention this at the interview - I met x and y and z and we decided mutually it wasn’t a great fit / move for me at that time but now I’m a few years more experienced and this role sounds made for me.
They don’t know that you didn’t reject them as much as they rejected too - and they won’t care.

Thanks - suspect it will be fine and does happen a lot in practice I guess. I just had a spell of bad interview experiences a while back that has scarred me.
