If you multiply two pieces of cake

by zero pieces of cake, mathematics tells us you end up with zero pieces of cake.

But what happened to the original two pieces of cake?

You must have had two pieces of cake to begin with, otherwise the sum would have been zero piece of cake x zero pieces of cake.

Is it possible that the act of computation destroyed the original pieces of cake?

If so, can mathematics be weaponised?

I don't know but what's absolutely clear and I've been very clear about this from the outset and let me now be clear about it: somebody must be held accountable for the missing cake.  Cakes.

Like it LF.  It's like that thing with cats always landing on their feet and toast always falling outside down: what happens if you stick the toast butter side up to the cat's back n then drop it?

Assume that is pratchett or d adam but forget

Great theory. Can we test this by multiplying Tory voters by zero?

-----------------------------------------

Not all Tory voters are white.

Hence, this post is deeply racist. You should be arrested.

No, you are clearly someone with a legal background, therefore regardless of the colour you identify as, you can speak from a position of power vis-a-vis, for example, disadvantaged indian, arab, etc, people.

Racism comes from a position of power.

ergo: guilty as charged.

Checkmate.

You're quite pasty for a black person anna.  You are quite pasty for an english one.

When I was in hosp the other year for anaemia a dr accused me of still looking anaemic after several extra pints of blood and platelets and saline drips.

This is me with a tan you fooker!

If I have one lot of piece of cake then I have one lot.

If I has two lots of piece of cake then I have 2 pieces of cake.

If I has zero lots of pieces of cake then I has no cakes at all.

Simples

Technically if you multiply two pieces of cake by zero pieces of cake you get zero pieces of cake squared.

do they not teach dimensional analysis anymore?

I am yet to see the definition let alone the results for multiplying pieces of cake. Mathematics does explore the results for multiplying integers, and more generally scalars, vectors, matrices etc.

You might want to also consider crossing a male horse with a female donkey, and crossing a female horse with a male donkey. A mule isn’t a hinny.
