Hey Honeybun - remember telling me how naive I am??

Hey Honeybun,

Still think I'm naive??

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-67258332.

I continue to be distressed about everything that is happening in Israel and Gaza, but please think twice the next time you tell a Jew how naive he/she is, when they correctly predict what history has been repeating for a thousand years.

I've prattled on about how lucky I feel to be a Jew in the UK many a time and the above is why.

This outome in Israel/Gaza was inevitable.

Bertha at 7.51 and Frazza at 9.09 probably reading the room accurately outside of Israel and Gaza.

FWIW vast numbers of attacks on Jews outside of Israel are documented including here in the UK.

I dont know of any attacks by Jews on non Jews outside of Israel (except Mossad hits) though I dare say they have occasionally happened.

Outside of Israel, we generally don't go looking for trouble and are far too used to it coming looking for us, as is now surely inevitable again.

Prodigal Son- I like you, I do- but you do come across as quite naive at times.

Not sure, but I suspect the alleged naivety may have been complaining about the possibility of attacks on Jewish people around the world in response to what Israel has been doing to Gaza for 3 weeks now.

Just FYI, the idea of mobs of people lying in wait for the passengers of an aircraft is horrifying and chilling, especially when the plane changes airports and the mob is waiting at the other airfield as well.

FWIW, I don't approve of that.

But I'm not surprised.

Benj has it. Attacks on Jewish communities are a given during times like this, unfortunately. I was additionally talking about this:

I dont know of any attacks by Jews on non Jews outside of Israel (except Mossad hits) though I dare say they have occasionally happened.”

You do know that whenever there is a conflict anywhere in the world, people from both “sides” living in communities abroad will be targeted, and it has been no different here. I state the obvious because your posts have “victim mentality” vibes going on, as just demonstrated again just now by your “but please think twice the next time you tell a Jew how naive he/she is, when they correctly predict what history has been repeating for a thousand years”.

One thing I wouldn’t have predicted had I been an adult in the 1940s is that the oppressed would become the oppressors.

Ok Honeybun, as long as you make sense to you.

Please give me some examples of the attacks you know about that make the comment below the naivety you actually meant. I presume you weren't thinking of the Canaanites or the Philistines but had some more recent events in mind?

I dont know of any attacks by Jews on non Jews outside of Israel (except Mossad hits) though I dare say they have occasionally happened.”

I’m not talking so much about attacks by Jews on non-Jews (I mean come on, even if I was we know that the Israeli government has got that covered- over 8000 deaths the last time I checked), but your assumption that it’s only Jewish people that get attacked. If you didn’t in fact mean to make that assumption, then that’s my mistake.

Islamophobia is rife. It’s not just Jewish people who get attacked.
