I mean, the Tories hate everything thatcher (and Regan) did so not sure this really illustrates that they are the same
I mean you're no here daily cheering for a Russian dictator to steamroll a democratically elected government next door, you vehemently oppose freedom and opportunity and you merrily call for more government
You think the Lady would have given the time of day to these anti European, anti rule of law shysters currently masquerading as the ‘leadership’ of the Conservative Party
“The first duty of Government is to uphold the law. If it tries to bob and weave and duck around that duty when its inconvenient, if government does that, then so will the governed, and then nothing is safe—not home, not liberty, not life itself”
Barry is right. Russia just had free and fair elections which Vladdy Poots won easily. I particularly enjoyed the footage of friendly, heavily armed soldiers volunteering their time to help people get in and out of the voting booths.
I actually think this is a great message and apart from anything shows the genius mentality of the meatshields and their masters at CCHQ
I mean, how else would you help labour to a super majority if you encourage any apathetic voters to stay home and leave the election to the hard core labour supporters and people angry with the tories
probably adding 20 seats to labour/lib dems/SNP this message
we didn't even get to an argument about Dalek's complete falsehood in the title
"decade of national renewal" is a weird way to describe 1981-1988 - I count that as 7 years, would be much fairer to describe Blair's 1997 to 2007 as a decade of national renewal - considering all the actual renewal that went on
it's also weird how the tories always seem to end up in rampant inflation

to steamroll a democratically elected government next door,
Which one is this - the Ukrainian one which refuses to hold elections?

As I previously noted I do not engage with the poster at 808 given his ongoing habit of posting blatant falsehoods

I think most countries suspend elections while there is an invading army occupying a chunk of it
or do you so casually spit in the face of Winston Churchill?
or do you not know that between 1935 and 1945 the UK did not hold elections?

‘Barry is right. Russia just had free and fair elections which Vladdy Poots won easily‘
Such a shame his opponent accidentally cut his own head off while combing his hair

I tried to put a bet on Vladdy Poots to boss the election, but both Billy Hill and Laddies refused to take my money.

they are all the same, don’t bother voting
(but if you DO bother voting, you may as well vote conservative!)

I think it’s more ‘tell young people (who just happen to tend to vote Lab/Lib/green) that they are all the same and not to bother voting’
Then organise a minibus from the care home to the polling booth on Election Day
hence risky is on tiktok and not touring the WI/rotary clubs with his ‘don’t vote’ message
