Now its spring its time to review all the hastily potted up odds and sods given to me by friends getting rid last autumn. And to cull some of the ill-advised gifts from previous years. I dont like buying stuff from the garden centre because it always seems to bring in pests and diseases. Stuff from friends all well and good but I have made plenty of mistakes, mostly triffids. And there are some morning glory seeds given to me as well which I strongly suspect I might regret sowing.

i have a dug out sunny bed (not very big) to fill...do I shove in the odds and sods or do I bite the bullet and get one or two from the shops?
