Why are EVs the pinnacle of being a baller?

Surely a true baller would be driving, or pretending to drive, a Rolls, McLaren or at least a Maybach?

Why surely?

This was petrol. 

I mean generally, not just this thread - lots of talk about EVs - what's so great about them?

A few things:

• Mad acceleration.
• Regen braking = free power.
• All the latest tech on board (new petrol cars should have this too but either they don’t or they do but will soon be defunct). 
• Quiet. 
• New design language (made possible because no engine etc.). 
• More internal space (see above).
• Instant torque (makes driving more fun).
• Maybe they save the planet, maybe they don’t. They can’t be worse. 

115bhp from a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder engine. Not bad for a car with half an engine. If you can put up with that wheezing noise. It's like running with one lung. 

Can't wait to hear what you didn't do today.
