i did use it to mince pork steaks to make pork and quails egg hand pies. They were turbo lush. (Buy the cook book PIE - u will not regret it.)
i also got a bacon kit one year. You buy some pork and then rub it with the special mix. Then put it in the fridge and turn every few days for a few weeks. At the end u get... bacon. That tadtes exactly as the stuff you can buy as bacon. Only you have to slice it.

for koftas, you're actually better off using handblender - you want near paste consistency.
