Did Laz actually try to become a Labour MP?

But was too shit? Amusing if so -  that must be a low bar. I went to school with a current Labour MP and he was thick as sh*t. To say nothing of 99% of the opposite front bench...

I have thought about going into politics but sadly my past precludes me.

Agreed. LA, I am one of your habitual friends and defenders on here but, if you fancy taking a swing, be advised that facing mockery from you on the basis of one’s career endeavours is a bit like having a fieldmouse try to deck you, but not as charmingly Beatrix Potter.

Megalol at the idea that becoming a Tory or Labour candidate has anything to do with intelligence as opposed to dogmatic servitude to the party.

Laz is deservedly well-respected by many as an erudite and prolific ROFer, if nothing else.

Personally, I also rate him as a person, not least for: actually sticking his head above the parapet for political election in the UK; his continued and repeated fights off-Board to allow chavvers to view his wife's t1ts sur le balcon avant; and because he may yet be the final one-man stronghold that prevents the CCP removing decent ale from HK. He's also good company (but sh1te at holding his ale).

He is 10x the man you are, LA, and 100x the ROFer.

If there's one thing I'm not shite at, it's holding my ale FGS. ML I admire your dedication to your spreadsheet m88 even if its accuracy is woeful.

(Ironic it's only you and cookie (who called Anna "an Anti-semitic [sic] aunt") who call me / allege I'm ML, btw. You both know better. cookie I can understand still pretending as he's a bitter so-and-so but thought you'd be a bit above / more intelligent given it all).

Bright Carter is not Morning Lark. ML had no discernible sense of humour and, AFAIK, is still residing at Her Majesty's Pleasure, so I doubt if regular rofing is possible.
