Not sure if this was covered while I was on holiday but there's something utterly terrifying about the destructive power of water especially when in large part it's the actions or inactions of mankind that have unleashed that power.

I heard something yesterday that said they were finding bodies of people who had drowned in their SIXTH FLOOR flats. Utterly terrifying.

At least they found them unlike those who lived in buildings where the entire building was washed away and taken out to sea. One guy got his family to the top floor of their house and assuming they would be safe went to check on someone else and by the time he got back his entire house had just gone.
