Whilst I have had positive and negative opinions of ministers and senior ministers over the course of my life but this close-up, detailed picture of what happens inside number 10 is profoundly unsettling.
It's what "happened", surely, not what happens generally.. Johnson as PM and the covid crisis was not a good mix (but Johnson as PM without covid would have been similarly dysfunctional).
The revelation yesterday about how covid rules were never followed at No. 10 puts a new spin on the extent of the lie that was Johnson's repeated claim to the HoC that the rules were followed at all times. They were never fooking followed, not just in respect of the various gatherings/parties he was being asked about.
