Bit shitty that they cannot hold their prices for the 24 months of the contract, but they all seem to have a rebase each March of CPI plus 3.9% or so. So first price hike is 7 months away, and likely to be 14% or so.
Shocking that I could be paying 25-30% more for the service in just 18 months or so. And I bet new contracts won't be at that heavily uplifted level. Also not sure why they need to charge a 3.7% uplift - They claim it's to upgrade the network (but openreach own that, and their costs are set by Ofgem, AFAIK, not a blanket CPI increase).

I think cost of living in the uk is getting on for scandipreis without the salary uplifts or excellent public services. Annoying.

Seems Ofcom are looking into this. Ofcom to review inflation-linked telecoms price rises - Ofcom
won't hold my breath tho.
