The runs need to be scored but that was an uninspiring Warwickshire attack if that was a typical Oval pitch. The 37 year old Chris Rushworth sharing the new ball with the military medium of Hannon-Dalby; all/rounder Ed Barnard as first change. Henry Brookes has some pace but doesn’t look look like he had any rhythm. Would have been a far more interesting contest if Hassan Ali or Mir Hamza were still around. Since Hassan returned this Warwickshire side has faded badly.
