It doesn't seem unreasonable to me. You make your friends when you are younger and hopefully you keep them. Who needs new friends when you have got old ones?
A couple in the last few years from my previous job. Though tbh work friendships have tended to fall away after a few years of not working together so these probably will too.

Hasn’t made a friend in 5 years according to a study.
When was the last time you made a friend?
If it’s a work friend the distinction between that and an actual friend is someone you would still contact if you moved jobs

I've made a few good friends over the last 20 years since leaving uni, probably one every three or four years

In the last year. Most of my friends are connected in some way to work these days though (not necessarily colleagues).

How does that compare with other countries?

About a year ago I think? Work friend but I was the only work person to be invited to her wedding and we hang out outside work.
