Aristocratic footballers

does any body know the most titled (if any) hereditary aristocrat to have played...in the English Football League

I think this is probably Lord Kinnaird (Wanderers, Old Etonians & England), a notoriously robust tackler, who according to Wikipedia celebrated his fifth Cup Final standing on his head.

Not a footballer but surely the most Aristo recent former proper sportsman with real world class talent and ability, none of that 3 day eventing nonsense. Sir Lawrence Clark 7th Baronet, now working at Citi Bank. Any advances on that?

If you are going beyond football, you have to recognise Lord Moynihan.

Presumably you are not going to sink to life peers like the Lord Archers and Coe or Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson.  Although the former was not elevated because of athletic prowess, he was not a peer at the time.
