Resto in Trogir put slivovitz in a water bottle on the table so you could help yourself to a shot. I thought it was a bottle of water. Big gulp of it. A second later it was coming out of my mouth, nose, eyes...
Mirto is incredible but very hard to find the good stuff. The Zedda Piras is good but I preferred the Silvio Carta (which I can only get directly from Sardinia).

Apricot. Every time. This shouldn’t even be a question FFS.

Plum Brandy = Slivovice. Do not light a match anywhere near it. Very flammable.
Or drink it either.

I speak from experience jellymonster. One drunken night in Pacov, Czech Republic, a tray of glasses of that stuff and I lit a cig. Oops.

Better suggestions? How about drinking something pleasant? If you fancy some brandy I find Hennessy XO is very pleasant.

Bleagh.
Peach brandy is just about acceptable.
Actually, no it's not. They're all inventions of the devil. The only sweet alcohol drinks should be Cointreau and sherry.

Pretty sure I have seen these two in a ménage a trois on the Hub.
