I think I'm ready for a hard Brexit now. Fuel. Generator. Animal feed. Cleaning stuff etc... food. I'm not expecting ww2...I just don't want to trawl around shops looking for stuff.
Actually...I'm good for wine but need to do beer. I'm okay for at least 6 months with little inconvenience I suspect.
The thing is...why not? It would be bought anyway. None of it will go to waste.

Lol.
Bantz in the pub about these loons. I didn't think they actually existed.

I was having a drink with a few mates the other day and we decided we'd grab all the armaments we could and barricade ourselves inside the Drummond pub, a bit like in Shaun of the Dead. Supplies should last a while.
Dux and Wang might be allowed in if they behave.

Nope.
I appreciate your opinion of having me for company in this regard may not be fully encouraging.
But yeah, I've made, and continue to make, preparations.

A .44 Mag with a 55 grain bullet is pretty effective
The ballistics suck compared to a .308 or 30.06, but for taking out looters at the end of my street, it's sufficient and pretty available.
On the other hand ,a Ruger LCP fully loaded with .380 hollowpoint weighs just shy of 10 ounces is so small it's essentially invisible in one's pocket; and so light, I frequently forget I'm carrying it
Used to live in the Mission back in the 90's when it was mostly Projects and Barrios - never had any issues.

Yer. Mainly tinned food and loo roll. Also shotgun cartridges. None of it will go to waste, so the cost is only the implied interest on the purchase cost for about six months.

What the hell is everyone doing talking about firearms. Ffs. Isn't it about time we put the fooking guns down and think "hey, maybe we don't know everything". Jesus.

I think remainers should prep and leavers should not prep, on the grounds that it would be "talking down the economy" or some bollocks like that.

We'll have a couple of big rigs parked outside the pub, some fast cars and bikes and head on down to the Teclis fortified estate in Cornwall. Come to some arrangement with them.

I think leavers shouldn’t prep on the grounds the aunts deserve to starve.

I'm learning how to photosynthesise instead of eating. Should be fine, there's enough sunlight by the end of March and by late Autumn I'll have looted enough supplies to last the winter.

I have several tins of pulses that have been with me through about 4 house moves since 2008. Maybe this could be the year when I finally say "do you know, I could murder a berlotti bean stew tonight darling. hell, lets crack open the cannelloni beans and the butter beans too and fart our way thru the apocalypse..."

I think I have some london pride and some pickled cabbage. I may be able to avert brexit in a single sitting if i get that much methane out...

The American government will airdrop some emergency supplies if necessary, won't it?
Oh wait ...

I have prepped by planning on being somewhere else in the aftermath of 29 March; I’ll come back once the dust has settled

I did the frozen fish brexit shop online yesterday... and that's the freezer rammed!
Now it's all firelighters, sesame seed paste etc to get....
the gas cannisters are being refilled this week and then.... I'm done.
I don't expect disaster, I do expect inconvenience and I hate shopping so don't want to traipse around.
