Alcohol free tequila

Apparently Lewis Hamilton is selling this because he likes the taste of tequila but doesn't want the alcohol and all I can ask is why?

I mean why does anyone just want to sip tequila?  There are some varieties of mezcal that are perfectly drinkable but tequila has to be my lease favourite shot and something I will never just sip.

There's alcohol free wine, rum, whisky, brandy and tequila at the supermarket where I buy my Sober Carpenter alcohol free craft beer.  Expensive and haven't tried it except for the wine.  Red is a bit meh but the white is certainly quaffable.

We have an alcoholic in my house receiving treatment (not me) and we have no alcohol in the house any more.

I am becoming an expert on alc free and low (sub 0.5) stuff. There is still a lot of cack out there and not many good ones at all.  The so-called gins are strange, botanical waters. The wines are disgusting grape juice. Most alcohol free beers still have that revolting, chemical bread flavour. Guinness is the least offensive.  All the mass brand zero lagers are gross and one or two of the 0.5s are ok but thin. Lucky Saint unfiltered is the closest to drinkable.

The alcohol free lagers taste just like their counterparts and are fine for a couple if you're out but driving but I wouldn't bother drinking them at home.  If I don't want something alcoholic there are plenty of decent existing non-alcoholic things to drink.

Wot Guy said.

I can't imagine ingesting tequila without alcohol. one bad night in 2nd year of university involved drinking tequila warm and straight from the bottle. Now I can't even look at it without wretching, the smell will induce vomit like some sort of pavlov dog situation

Now..a nice margarita on the rocks with salt rim is somehow my cocktail of choice, but only because the tequila is sufficiently hidden by salty sweet limey goodness
