QualitySolicitors.com has underlined its position as the UK's most sophisticated law firm, by promising to dole out air miles to its clients. Well, it's better than baked beans.

The group hit the headlines in May when it handed out canned produce outside the Royal Courts of Justice in a blatant publicity stunt protest against Tesco Law. Which is a little ironic, given that it is now offering its clients a loyalty card to accumulate reward points and air miles, the Gazette reported. Much as, err, Tesco does.

No one from the group would speak to RollOnFriday, so it's unclear quite how the system works. Presumably a simple residential conveyance would get a one way economy ticket to Paris, whereas a bitterly contested divorce might result in a business class return to New York (for the now-penniless client).

    Go for it

Nor was QualitySolicitors.com able to name a single one of the many firms it claims to represent. Which may be the reason its optimistic claim to be the UK's "No. 1 legal brand" seems to have been downgraded to the less punchy "the UK's first truly national legal brand". Although that's something Eversheds might dispute...
