A US attorney is facing three charges of battery for fondling his clients.

Three different women have now claimed to have been felt up during meetings with lllinois public defender Lonnie Lutz, who retired in June after 33 years on the job.

According to one complaint, brought by the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, Lutz took a female client back to his office after a court appearance, kissed her and put his tongue in her mouth before asking her if it "felt good?". Not good enough it seems, as she says she declined his invitations to take her to a conference and tie her to a hotel bed.

A second former client says Lutz massaged her shoulders while reassuring her that "only the special ones" got the hands-on treatment. And a third complainant claims she was told that weekend meetings were normal "if there is a pretty blond woman". She also alleges that while they waited on a bench for her court hearing, Lutz sat so close their legs were touching, and kept shuffling next to her each time she moved away.

A hearing date will be set next week and in the meantime Lutz will no doubt be crossing his busy fingers, though that didn't help the lawyer suspended for charging clients in bjs.
