Well, if they’re wearing a new Uniform Wares Series 100 or 200, everyone will be watching (in a non-creepy way. Hopefully they won’t want to mug you or anything, just admire your style). They’ll be watching with good reason as these new fashion pieces (too expensive to be termed fashion accessories in our opinion) are good looking and eye-catching in a good way.

Lawyers (male ones generally) often have a torrid time standing out from their peers, colleagues… even the bloke on the other side of the deal – we’re fairly limited to wearing ‘outrageous’ socks bought from H&M (and mis-matched for good measure), a belt with a curious buckle and, at a push, a Ted Baker suit with bright pink lining. In the colder months you may get away with a colourful scarf or a jaunty hat, but don’t count on it.

Uniform Wares go to extremes to ensure their customers look good - no matter the situation

What we need is a subtle outlet to reflect our individuality (albeit by everyone buying the same watch), and that’s where Uniform Wares come in. They come in two styles (Series 100 or 200 which, helpfully, closely follow the RRP) that are, frankly, very similar – minimalist in details, but big in shape and impact. If Grand Design’s Kevin McCloud (of the clan McCloud) were here, he would refer to the clean lines and functionality of the piece. Sadly, you’ve only got us and we can only say that it looks good and makes our wrist look less fat – all valuable features. Oh, and it tells the time too (which is important for a watch).

So, stop using your blackberry to tell the time – get yourself a colourful watch and accessorise your pinstripes in a subtle yet satisfying way. They’ll make you look cooler and more design-aware (which is, no doubt, important during those 3am completion meetings).
