After a busy weekend, and a busy morning arranging our social events for the rest of the week, we were happy to have been provided with a link to Doodle.com - handier than an eager PA with a degree in Outlook Calendar.

Being the social butterflies that we are, us Roffers find it difficult to organise our overcrowded diaries, but this is mostly due to the selfless act of searching out the best and biggest London has to offer our loyal following.

If you're like us, you've got mates from home, school, university, your first work, your second work, your current work and family. Life is really hectic if you're as pop-u-lar as we are and seeing our numerous acolytes proves difficult. It's so crazy that our little moleskin diary is covered in ink and our inbox full of apologetic emails re-arranging re-arranged meets. We were on the verge of signing up with a PA company when Doodle was thrust in front of us.

He should have used Doodle. I bet the world's youngest billionaire is gutted.

Doodle is genius. It's clearly not rocket science, but how often have you tried to find a suitable night for beers with your mates or a free weekend for a round of golf or, once the weather is more conducive, a BBQ in the garden.

Doodle lets you set up a "poll", which is essentially a table of available slots, for anything that takes your fancy and then you can either add your mates email addresses to let Doodle disseminate the info or you can email it yourself by sending the link that is generated. It can also be linked to Facebook and Outlook making it an indispensable tool. The service is free and doesn't even insist that you sign up; free and useful equals happiness.

We are now refusing to entertain any engagement that hasn't been Doodled - do it, you'll love it.
