Charles Russell has entered an eight man team to take part in the Brawn Lifeboat Challenge 2010, supported by Ross Brawn of MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One Team, to raise funds for a new lifeboat on the Thames.

The aim of the Challenge is for each of the 11 teams taking part to turn £1,000 into as much money as possible in an effort to raise enough funds to enable the RNLI to purchase a new lifeboat costing £350,000.

The team has organised a wide range of fundraising initiatives and one of the ways in which we are hoping to raise funds is by hosting a Nike endorsed football tournament at the Soccerdome in Greenwich on 29 July.

There are still a couple of spaces for teams available, so if any Roffers would be interested in entering a team please get in touch with [email protected] or [email protected].
