Virucidal hand gel

A jot lot of this has appeared in all of the facilities in my office.  Judging by how full the bottles are nobody seems to be using it though.

I am informed by medical professionalists that soap and water is more effective than the antibacterial gel. Altho I suppose it's better than nothing if you don't have access to hand washing paraphernalia.

Ha, good point. The advice I received was that antibacterial gels are generally useless, and was not specifically wrt viruses.

In our building there are antibacterial hand gels bottles next to all the soap dispensers. Which makes me think that the people in charge have even less of a clue than me.

My firm at least has stuff that purports to work on viruses.  Laughed at one colleague sniffing hand sanitiser in the hope it might kill anything she'd inhaled.
