All of their arguments, their wailing and moaning crushed to dust by the glorious vaccine running through our veins.
As we chin pint after pint in our sunny beer garden safe in the knowledge that everything they said was wrong, and everyone else was right.
we won’t forget them. We shall mock them for eternity. Even on the benches of the feasting hall in Valhalla, the sound of our mocking laughter will ring loud and clear.
what a time to be alive folks.

TBF prior to vaccines the only choice was sit at home at massive expense hoping something comes along, or wear a long term bearable amount of deaths and increased health spending.
Now it's all just "it might never end" (unlikely) or "don't make me take this poison". Given there's no compulsion to take it, not sure what the point is on this - if all vaccine takers die then that's probably a good result for a self-interested childless person as there will be more employment opportunities. I suppose there's also the "wah wah human rights" angle, but that's implying a population controlling grand plan for a govt that uses Excel 2003 and runs out of rows for test and trace records. Do they honestly think if the hospitals were completely empty and deaths were in the tens everyone would continue to adhere to the laws? The police and armed forces represent about 0.5% of the entire population. As the London riots proved, there's no risk of a Burma style event when mass disobedience kicks in.
The demolish your house thing is interesting, as the govt can demolish your house to build a railway or for a planning permission breach. Are these the next egregious laws to be campaigned against?

There does seem to be a strong correlation between people who read the telegraph and covid sceptic windowlickers. Is this just the paper knowing their audience or what?

It looks like six weeks to chinning pints in the beer tent in Cowes after a hard day racing. Hopefully limits on numbers will keep the local grockles out of the tent so less fighting as the night goes on.

Haven't had any since. Beers last night.
But an invite to the pub has just rolled across my desk so may have to partake in Friday follocking. I'm on parenting duty but don't see why I can't take an iPad/lock them in their cage....(this is a joke obv).
