On the Casio point - I have a basic classic, FW91 or whatever it is, for sport. Waterproof for swimming, sweatproof etc. Cost next to nothing.
I also bought the identical metal variant because it's kinda hipster cool and ironic, and reminds me of what actually was cool when I was about 7. Also cost next to nothing. Worn it out and about a bit. Bought one for the teenage nephew too. If he doesn't think it's cool, he's out of the will.
