I would dispute “doing it in secret “ - hiring a private jet and taking one of the better known / more obvious looking Hollywood private security guards to a location where she know the world’s press are massed isn’t low key. and touring a community centre where they’re after blood donations (I’d have been more impressed if she’s donated blood rather than a carrier bag of sandwiches) isn’t paying respects - drop the bag and run, don’t disrupt emergency operations by taking a tour where you have no jurisdiction. If Netflix were involved I’m sure someone would have pictures of the film crew so that’s at least a complaint too far.
laying flowers isn’t remotely helpful to anyone. Donating the cash from the private jet trip to gun control groups would have got my utmost respect. And more press inches but fewer photos. So yes I’m cynical about this.
