I gave up last month and had pro gardeners in to clear a load of stuff, get rid of a couple of trees and shrubs, dump new shale down one side and generally tidy it all up, now the plants and veg are in pots or grow beds. All low maintenance.

It cost around six hundred quid but looks great. I didn't have the time or, quite honestly, the energy to do it myself anymore.
