The Amazon football was brilliant and everyone watched it. It really showed how shite Sky and BT are, both for their service and how locked away football is.
Biggest problem with Sky to me is all the ancient tech its wedded to.
I would pay what they asked if it was like Netflix/Amazon and I could just subscribe online and stream all the games on my tv, laptop, iPad instantly etc.
But I'm fooked if I'm getting some guy round my house to strap a big bit of metal on the roof, run cables, give me a dedicated set-top box, tie me into an 18 month contract and then constantly try and upsell me on internet service.
The best thing about sky is that if you scroll thru enough channels you will always find a die hard. Haven't watched much Flix tbh. Prime had some good shows a couple of years ago but I haven't found any lately
Pancakes, you have heard of NowTV right? It is essentially a streaming service with Sky content. All you need is their freebie stick or install their app on another stick. It's what I signed up to for the last series of Game of Thrones.

I did. I had the 3-Ducks Show, but its ratings were almost as bad as Down the Gym with Strutter, so it was pulled.

Some good shows, lots of shit. Same as Amazon and Sky Atlantic tbh
It's just annoying that you need to subscribe to about 100,000 things to watch all the good shows.
Football is going the same way now anarl

Amazon football is ace
what isn't ace is paying money to Sky, BT and Amazon just so you can watch all the footy.

No, I still like it. I do go through cycles with it where I can't find anything but then get overwhelmed.
I watched all of Mindhunter this weekend.

no subscription services have anything like enough good films
the only way to get good films online is amazon prime, rent or buy
