Anyone else finding that once an iPhone gets to two years of age the battery drains far too quickly? I thought apple had admitted that they were causing this deliberately but promised to stop it
somewhere in settings it tells you what % charge your battery is able to reach. I replaced mine when it could only manage 70% of capacity on a full charge and there are few other ways £25 could have improved my life so much
I assume you've gone through which apps are able to access your location and when and turned half of them off. I've found dating apps kill battery life as they are constantly checking your location then looking for people nearby.
panda - batteries wear out, the only iPhone specific bit is that their phones are actually used enough and usable long enough for it to bother people.
What Apple admitted to is that they slow down your phone once the battery gets old as the alternative is for it to randomly switch itself off and possibly damage itself. If you really want to there is now a setting so you can disable this (and I'm not sure it actually enables itself until your phone does randomly switch itself off).
£45 and Apple will replace the battery for you or else you can probably get iSmash or someone to a little bit cheaper. Well worth doing if you like the little phone given there isn't an alternative the same size.
had a series of iphones and the battery always started badly and got worse- however, new XR is a revelation - easily lasts 24 hours with heavy use and 48 with light use.

As an aside, the samsung told me I was 2000 calories under my target intake yesterday.
1. how does it know?
2. who set the target?
3. knew I shouldnt have given 2/7 of my rack of lamb to that pesky kid...

Panda I think you probably just bore your iPhone to death each morning. Nothing to do with battery

I don't think anyone is going to be invading the Sudetenland on the basis of my 10,000 steps target, Chambo
