To be debated tomorrow, pass through the Commons anfd Lords and receive Royal Assent on Thusrday, making it unlawful to leave the EU without a deal.

Lollers!

SO unless we have a deal or an extension how exactly do they see this ban working? While I like the sentiment it does seem like rather pointless legislation that achieves nothing.

As I said the other day this like a client buying a property announcing that they've banned the seller from changing their mind about the sale.  It's totally pointless in a scenario where you don't have full control of what is going to happen.

Yay, more voting for unicorns. indecision

Not a fooking hope of this getting through the Lords in time.  And even if it does I've not seen any mention of it leading to a revocation if we don't get the extension.

And there is no fvcking chance of an extension when we've apparently just given up hopes on working out what we actually want and this bill amounts to just asking for lots more time to have some more fvcking useless debates.

Jebus wept.

As a matter of law we would be forced to revoke the article 50 notice if there was no deal and no extension.

As much as I like this idea, the obvious argument against it is that once this has been passed into law, the Revoke A50 / People's Vote brigade need only sit on their hands and say no to everything.
