*  For years we've been paying £30 - 40 (up North) or £40 - 60 (down South).  But the one from Home Bargains is a cracker for a tenner.  Someone will probably tell me its a less ethically sound chopped down tree but I reckon its all pretty indefensible.

I bought lots of lovely new decorations for ours this year and was quite proud of it. Then my son saw the neighbour’s and cried himself to sleep two nights in a row because theirs was better than ours.

Wellers, sorry about the delay, but as you asked, I'm moving to the Netherlands. At this very moment I am surrounded by packing boxes which is a pretty depressing way to spend a day off.

Arrived on Thurs from a local garden centre.

7 ft magnificent tree. Put in the stand by delivery man. How much did it cost? No idea - ordered over the phone in October and no charge yet taken. Maybe its free!

Judocarter you need to order from patch! They will carry up the stairs for hou

and what kind of wrong un turns off the Christmas lights on their tree EVER? Ours twinkle permanently from the moment the tree is up until the sad day when it comes down for the season

I dont think i’d trust the lights if they stayed on all the time. They are over 20 years old and go back in the niches in the box every year to preserve them. They are chavvy multi coloured but act not chav at all because proper old fashioned colours with pink in there and not LED.

Tree bought and decorated yesterday, a 5ft blue spruce from the garden centre, can't remember the cost. Lights are blue and white, non-twinkling. Blue and silver tinsel, then a bit of colour variety with red and natural wood decorations.

They are chavvy multi coloured but act not chav at all because proper old fashioned colours with pink in there and not LED.

Class distinctions based on the bulb type of your Christmas lights is strong even for ROF.
