In the full clip first he avoids it, then glances at it and then, as the camera was zoomed in, pockets the phone. Once it was pointed out, he takes it out of his pocket and looks at the photo. No bloody empathy. Then keeps going on a rant about how Brexit will fix it for ya.
See I couldn’t actually see the point where he put it in his pocket and I rewound and watched again several times and wouldn’t have known without the journalist mentioning it. The journalist has the phone in his hand then they zoom in and you lose sight of either of their hands until he says you’ve put my phone in your pocket. Not a good distraction technique if it’s not actually apparent you’re doing it!
Social Meeja is saying that nursing staff are disputing her version of events. Saying that she took lad off trolley (in picture to right), took photos, and then put him on again. Also saying that despite her saying she was a Tory voter who has switched to labour because of this her social meeja suggests this might not be true.
Yeah, maybe. To be noted that the hospital has apologised of course (should have pointed this out). We shall see I suppose (and I must shake this aged cynicism!)

I have come to the momentous conclusion that I may not back Boris and vote Conservative.
