When Project Fear told us we would have no GPS post Brexit and would be steping back in time?

Point of order: GPS is not the same as Galileo, the latter competes with or compliments the former, depending on your viewpoint (or did, anyway).
Still there's always Biedou or Glonass if you don't want to use GPS.

Hmm. Why are Brexiteers so obsessed with EU projects failing when they want no part of them?

Because we want to see an end to the whole damn Federal Project and a free Europe.

Nothing to do with it. I believe in the nation state and want to see them all prosper independently.

And co-operate on matters of mutual economic interest presumably Dux.

Given the size of the nations in question, they can prosper more together than they can separately, which was kind of the whole f**king point.

There was an interesting thread on PPrune in which someone who appeared to know what they were talkign about explained in detail why the UK's plan to replace Galileo with a smaller, LEO national system using cubesats was, in fact, complete mince.

Dux, your POV is SO 1990s.
C'mon, man, get with the program. Did you, for example, celebrate the brilliant win for the EU in the cricket yesterday? Such triumps are made possible by the great and glorious super state.

I hope one of the Galileo satellites falls from orbit and squashes Jean Claude Juncker. And that the resulting fireball from his 140% proof blood burns down the reichstag or whatever they call the EU parliament.
Hmmmm.... OK, now I'm worried. Calling for such violence and retribution makes me sounds like a Remainer or other "tolerant" lefty antifa type. Sorry about that.

shooty as usual confusing a little bit of harmless patriotism channeled into sporting events with utterly counterproductive militant nationalism which serves only to benefit the wealthiest and most powerful

As the BBC have been telling us in the news all day, all is right in the world because England have won the cricket world cup.
Not much about hurtling to the cliff edge of a no deal brexit
