Presumably there is a good chance there will be a change in leadership of the EU as a consequence of the "democratic elections" (per Nigel Farage) tomorrow.
What are the chances of the new leadership appointing a new, more pragmatic, Brexit negotiating team, one that is willing to do a deal all sides can live with?

So small it’s not worth measuring.

Why the fook should the EU have a more pragmatic negotiating team? Their negotiating team is doing a great job imo.
People in the UK need to accept the fact that if we want to leave the club we are going to need to lube up and bend over.

Considering the fact that there will still be the same member states and the same intent to defend those members, changes of getting a new team with a decidedly different stance on things such as the Irish border: my guess is nil.

that’s a bit like being in 1990 and suggesting replacing John Hume would help the peace process
u r picking the wrong side to criticise for being intransigent and unreasonable
and u r assuming that there is a deal all sides can live with, when there isn’t even a deal all Brexters can live with

why shouldn’t they campaign to keep us in the union?
they’ve made it quite clear that’s their preference and there’s now a huge upsurge in support for the EU across Europe, so it’s perfectly logical
it’s quite flattering - they obviously like us despite how auntishly a large number of our population and much of our political ruling class have behaved towards them

which is still unlikely to produce a deal which all brexters can support

"I think Gove will get us over the line, if the EU can move on too. Sunlit uplands for all parties..." Why would the EU move? They haven't so far. Also Gove has no real ideas and nothing to offer.

EU will not compromise the interests of its member Ireland

the only way of not punishing everyone is to cancel brexit and readmit the UK back to the sensible world
but u objected to them voicing favour for this, so u r now inconsistent
make ur mind up: do u want them to stop supporting the UK’s well-being or do u want them to help prevent brexit? which is it
