I know it's like a lightning rod to some but .. EV's and sustainable wind / hydro seems to be the way to go.
Yesterday, I say a huge lorry that was fully electric (It was branded Ikea) and then I got an a fully electric double decker bus (route 199, Canada Water to Bellingham got new buses a couple of weeks ago for the first time since 2018. They're fully electric so no diesel engine)
OPEC+ apparently now only controls 51% of global oil production. A combination of using less and finding/investing in reliable sources of supply should naturally erode the cartel’s power.
alternatively, can you say "demurrage" and calculate the cost of half of BP's tanker fleet being 2 months late discharging into their booked refineries?
it doesn't change supply it just creates a blip in delivery times, the growth or contraction of the global economy drives the oil/ energy price
